Leaves few and scattered , sessile , 3–7 × 0 . 8–1 . 3 mm , linear narrowly elliptic , acute , glabrous . Inflorescences up to 5 , on short spreading lateral branches ; pedicels 1 . 5–3 . 5 mm , glabrous ; bracts and bracteoles 0 . 5–1 . 0 mm , glabrous to sparsely ciliate . Flowers white with yellow throat ; calyx 5-lobed , lobes 3–4 mm , lanceolate to narrowly triangular , acute , glabrous , margin ciliate ; corolla white with yellow throat and yellowish-brown on outside of tube , glabrous outside ; tube 10–12 mm , bent near the middle , glabrous outside , retrorsely hairy above and below the stamens inside ; lobes 2 . 5–3 . 5 mm , narrowly ovate , acute , glabrous ; stamens 2 ; filaments glabrous ; anthers confluent .
