Leaves 8–40 × 2–12 mm , oblong-ovate to narrow oblanceolate , glabrous , obtuse to acute , base gradually tapering into the petiole , 3–10 mm . Inflorescences axillary in lax racemes ; pedicels 3–13 mm , becoming recurved . Flowers white with a pink throat ; calyx lobes unequal , ovate , acute , somewhat scarious ; upper lobe 3–5 mm ; lower lobe 3–4 mm ; median lobes 2 . 5–3 . 5 mm ; corolla white with a pink throat , 6–8 mm , upper lip 2-fid , lower lip 3-fid with a conspicuous yellow palate with purplish glandular hairs ; stamens 4 .
