Leaves alternate , 13-37 x 0 . 5-1 . 5 mm , linear to linear-oblong , apex acute , base cuneate , margin entire , glabrous ; petiole ± 1 mm . Inflorescences in terminal racemes ; pedicel 2-2 . 5 mm , recurved when fruit is mature . Flowers purple ; sepals persistent , the outer 3 sepals 3-4 . 5 mm , obovate ; inner 2 sepals 6-7 mm , obovate to ovate , yellow-green , distinctly 3-veined at the base , glabrous ; petals with the crest of the keel purple . Fruit capsule , ± 5 x 2 mm , oblong , notched above , compressed , with markedly unequal wings , glabrous ; larger wing 2 mm at the apex , smaller wing 0 . 5 mm , glabrous , enclosed by the larger inner sepals .
