الاستخدامات

In Southern Oman, the whole plant is edible - roots, flowers, leaves, seeds, and stems. It was either eaten raw or was cooked beriefly and added as a relish to the main grain dish, or was mixed into soured milk or any other sharp-flavoured liquid. It was considered to be very good for the body, cleansing the blood and purifying the whole system, as well as having a mildly diuretic action. In the north of Oman the plant was also used medicinally - the leaves were made into a poultice to treat whitlows and ulceration of the skin (Ref. Plants of Dhofar).
