Leaves alternate or subopposite , sessile , narrowly elliptic to broadly ovate , acute tip , base cuneate , rounded or rarely subcordate . Inflorescences solitary , axillary , on slender pedicels . Flowers white or pale pink ; corolla very slightly longer than calyx ; stamens c . 2/3 as long as petals ; filaments shortly connate at the base , glabrous ; anthers ovoid , obtuse . Fruit globose , many–seeded . Seeds 0 . 2–0 . 3 mm . in diam , 3-angled . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
