Inflorescences grouped in loose terminal racemes , 15-40 cm long . Flowers bisexual , sepals 6 , oblong ; petals 4 , with an ovate appendage ; disc double , cup-shaped , the inner part membranous , the outer fleshy ; stamens c . 25 . Fruit capsule , leathery , obovoid or subglobose , erect or ascending on a 4-5 mm pedicel . Seeds c . 1 . 5 x 1mm , dark-brown to black , dull , tuberculate . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 1) .
