Branched shrub with many ascending stems ; up to 1 . 5(-3) . Branches intricate and zigzag in growth , hairy to white-tomentose on younger parts . Leaves 3-nerved from the base , ovate to ovate-orbicular , hairy or finely tomentose , especially on the undersurface , base rounded , apex rounded , reties or mucronate , margin entire to crenulate . Flowers axillary , greenish-yellow . Fruit drupe , globose , orange to red .
