Small shrub ; up to 2m . Branches unarmed , arching and spreading . Leaves often present or short lateral shoots , petiolate , broadly ovate to rotund , apex obtuse with an apiculate tip or emarginated , base tapering into a short petiole , margin entire . Flowers 3-7 , in compact cymes , white . Fruit subglobose , red becoming purple-black when mature . (Ref . Flora of Oman ; vol . 2) .
