Biennial or annual herb , with erect stems , sparsely branched , hairy and with glands ; up to 30cm . Leaves mostly forming a basal rosette , vivid dark green , oblong , deeply lobed at the base . Flowers bright yellow , arranged along the stalk , filaments with white woolly hairs . Fruit a brown capsule , many tiny seeds .
