Evergreen perennial subshrub or shrub ; up to 1 . 5 m tall . Stems erect , green-yellow , delicate . Leaves 1-foliolate , shortly petiolate or sessile , succulent , glabrous ; leaflets 7-15 x 11-16 mm , round to broadly obovate , apex rounded , base rounded , glabrous ; stipules fused . Inflorescences solitary , in the axils of leaves ; pedicel 4-10 mm . Flowers purple to pink , fading white , ± 5 mm across ; sepals 205-3 mm , obovate , glabrous , greenish yellow ; petals 10-11 m , obovate , shortly clawed ; stamens with a scale-like appendage at the base . Fruit capsule , 5-7 mm , 5-angled , glabrous , becoming yellow to brownish yellow at maturity . (Ref . Flora of oman ; vol . 2) .
